Cliff is a serial entrepreneur who saw the opportunity in a small run down boozer on the north Norfolk coast. Nearly 30 years later, he and his sons, James and Howard, have built an award winning collection of premium food led pubs across Norfolk and Hertfordshire. The independent menus focus on seasonal provenance with strong links to local suppliers but the real success of the business is the culture it has preserved over the years. Cliff started the business with the mindset of looking after his team like he would his family, and with nearly 500 people across the group, this still rings true today with ACI being named Best Employer at The Publican Awards this year and also recognised as one of the Top 25 Happiest Places to Work in Hospitality.
