Jen joined Crate in 2016, becoming Head of Finance in 2018 and then taking over from the outgoing Managing Director in March 2023. After graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Jen worked as a Financial Controller for a London fundraising agency while studying for her CIMA qualification in Accounting.

Having moved up the ranks within Crate, Jen is now responsible for the Crate Group of businesses, including Crate's brewery and retail operations, Silo and its fermentation factory start-up, and their combined nearly 100 employees. Jen's focus at Crate is leading with a people-first approach and has recently led the business into a 4-day workweek trial.
